SportsHub is currently growing rapidly, expanding its projects reach with an immediate need for a New Business Development Manager.

Job Details -

As New Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for creating attractive proposals for potential clients and for maintaining contact with entities who issue tenders matching SportsHub’s field of service.

Additionally, you will be response for identifying appropriate assets, in conjunction with SportsHub’s management and projects teams, to create attractive repeatable packages typically using SportsHub’s own event IPs (e.g., Public Night Walks, Corporate Event Days, Community Sports Days, School Children Sports Programs etc.) and the sponsoring rights of such IPs.

Within your duties will be understanding the needs and objectives of our clients and of related key sponsorship markets and working with SportsHub’s project teams to develop and incorporate such partner collaborations into their event or program implementation and delivery. Ensuring a close relationship with and insight into our stakeholders activities and managing their engagement with SportsHub is essential. Strong competence and track-record in the creation of compelling proposals with PowerPoint or similar tools is a distinct advantage.

Main Tasks -

  • Coordination and alignment of information exchange between SportsHub and its client management
  • Preparing and conducting meetings with leads and with clients (agendas, presentations, memos etc.)
  • Being a link between the client teams & our project teams, ensuring the clients vision is delivered
  • Supporting SportsHub leadership and management in new business activities by appropriate research, preparation of presentations and coordination of meeting opportunities
  • Contributing to the development and preparation of proposals for new projects
  • Packaging and pricing of own product IP formats
  • Packing and pricing of sponsoring assets
  • Managing the relationship with related procuring entities and handling of all aspects of contracting, reporting and invoicing with such entities

Our Requirements -

  • Graduate in Business Management or related subject or other educational background
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • A friendly interactive personality
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills (creating presentations and presenting)
  • Social media savvy with an understanding of local markets & communities in and around KSA
  • MS-Office experience
  • Willing to be Riyadh based
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English
  • Open to qualifying candidates of all nationalities – Saudis preferred

Work Experience -

  • You must have a minimum 3-5 years similar experience in Business Development
  • Prior experience in dealing with governmental entities is a distinct advantage but not mandatory
  • Experience in Sponsoring Marketing is considered a bonus.
Type of Employment: full-time role based in Riyadh Permanent with an immediate start
