SportsHub is currently growing rapidly, expanding its projects reach with an immediate need for a Senior Events Project Manager.
Job Details -
SportsHub is delivering a unique public mass participation event concept to multiple locations across Saudi Arabia, in line with a defined event-calendar. SportsHub is looking for an experienced Senior Events Project Manager to own this delivery across all locations, to a high standard and level of efficiency.
You will be working closely with members of the SportsHub team to achieve a quality delivery including a Sponsoring Manager, a Social Media Manager, Procurement Manager and Warehouse Manager amongst others. You will be reporting to SportsHub’s Events Director.
Main Tasks -
- Developing an efficient, repeatable event format
- Developing a detailed Event delivery plan, per location
- Reviewing and agreeing the plan with the Events Director
- Planning event-staffing requirements (internally, temporary/location-staff and from suppliers)
- Liaising with the Procurements Manager on supplier deliverables, schedule & tracking
- Liaising with the Sponsoring Manager to ensure compliance to sponsor requirements & deliverables
- Liaising with the Social Media Manager on event promotions
- Liaising with the Warehouse Manager on event equipment storage, dispatch/return & maintenance
- Acting as the lead point-of-contact for event-related client communications
- Conducting advance event location planning visits & establishing necessary ground-contacts
- Onsite management of the event both setup, event-day and post-event pack-up
- Conducting event reviews and lessons-learnt with the leadership
- Updating forward-calendar event plans based on key-learnings
- Assessing and reviewing supplier delivery performance and quality
- Assessing and reviewing event ticketing performance & participation
- Regular periodic status and progress reporting, risks-monitoring and contingency planning
Our Requirements -
- Bachelor or Master degree level education
- Strong, demonstrable Project Management skills
- Experience in project planning, tracking and monitoring
- Self-motivated with a committed, delivery-driven work focus
- Good organisational & time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Good communicator with a friendly personality
- Team player who is able to work in a challenging, pressurised environment
- Arabic-language is a distinct advantage
- Strong English skills mandatory (both verbal and written English communication)
- Open to all qualifying candidates of all nationalities – Saudis preferred
Work Experience -
- You must have a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience of multi-threaded project delivery.
- Previous events delivery experience is a distinct advantage but not mandatory
